Free weather app for Android
Search any city to see the temperature right now, the hourly and 5-day forecast, and how clean the air is. Explore a live global weather map, and switch to dark mode, °F or your own language in one tap.
Features
No clutter and no hunting through menus. Global Weather puts the forecast, air quality and map where you can find them in seconds.
Forecast
Open the app and see the temperature, what it feels like and the wind, followed by the hourly forecast and the 5-day outlook. It's all on one scrolling page, so you can plan your commute, your weekend or a trip without tapping around.
Air Index
The Air Index shows the air quality level on a colour scale from Good to Hazardous, along with the actual readings behind it. Search any city or save the ones you check often, like Sapporo or Kuala Lumpur.
Weather map
The global weather map shows conditions across countries and continents, with a temperature scale from −40 °C to 50 °C. Switch layers, zoom in, move through the coming days with the timeline, and share what you see.
Your way
Change everything from one simple Settings screen. Use dark theme at night or to save battery on OLED phones, switch between °C and °F, and read the app in your preferred language.
Built to be light
Many weather apps are heavy with animations and video. Global Weather is built the other way round.

Air quality guide
The Air Index colour bar in Global Weather uses five levels. Here is what each one means for your day, based on the widely used US EPA Air Quality Index.
| AQI | Level | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 0–50 | Good | Air is clean. Enjoy outdoor activities. |
| 51–100 | Moderate | Fine for most people. Unusually sensitive people may want to limit long, hard exercise outdoors. |
| 101–200 | Unhealthy | Children, older adults and people with asthma or heart conditions should cut back outdoors. Above 150, everyone should. |
| 201–300 | Very unhealthy | Avoid outdoor activity where possible and keep windows closed. |
| 301+ | Hazardous | Health warning for everyone. Stay indoors. |
Some countries use their own AQI scales with different ranges. Always follow local health advice.
